Paul and David are both highly experienced detectives
- you would expect them to be as they have both served on the CID in
a major metropolitan force for many years. However, practical knowledge

Paul was a police officer for nearly 22 years,
(11 as a detective) the last 6 were spent in CID Training during
which time he:
- Became a 'National Police Training' qualified
trainer
- Qualified to the rank of sergeant
- Became an NPIA (Centrex) trained multiple-choice
question writer (Paul has written well over 3500 MCQ's)

David was a detective
sergeant with West Midlands Police. He is now a freelance writer
for Oxford University Press. His published works include:
- Author of Blackstone's

David is a highly experienced police trainer
and currently works for a number of police forces providing specialised
training in evidence gathering. For five years he lead the training
for ICIDP candidates in West Midlands Police. David has qualified

- An A1 Assessor
- An NPIA (Centrex) trained question
writer (David has written over 700 multiple-choice questions)
