David was a detective
sergeant with West Midlands Police. He is now a freelance
writer for Oxford University Press. His published works include:

David is a highly experienced police trainer
and currently works for a number of police forces providing
specialised training in evidence gathering. For five years
he lead the training for ICIDP candidates in West Midlands
Police. David has qualified as:

- An A1 Assessor
- An NPIA (Centrex) trained question
writer (David has written over 700 multiple-choice questions
David is the author of the National PEACE
Tier 2 Examination and the author of the National Fraud Examination.
He is qualified to the rank of inspector.
